Vince Russo Arrested at Willoughby Hills Home: The Russo's have helped Bob Aufuldish maintain a death grip on Lake County

Willoughby Hills resident Vince Russo was arrested at his home yesterday.   See the google map below to show where Russo lives according to the Lake County Auditor.  Several news stations covered the Russo family leaving the Willoughby Hills home to catch up with Vince Russo before his 2:00 PM court date yesterday, after which he answered questions in the video below.

Vince Russo and his flamboyant father, Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo, have dablled in Lake  County Politics.  That's right!  The Russo family have helped Lake County Commisioner Bob Aufuldish keep his death grip on a Commisioner's seat.

Bob Aufuldish went dirty, real dirty, to defeat Willoughby Hills Councilman Ray Somich in the 11/07/07 election.  Aufuldish savagely smeared Councilman Somich in the last days of the election... probably using cash and resources which the Russo's helped in getting.

In the days to come WE will be discussing the Russo's influence in Lake County, particularly in helping the Aufuldish death grip on the county.

  3. Steve:

Thought we would get your opinion on this issue since you pointed out here. Note: We make NO excuse for the utter lack of proof reading on this blog; its lazy and unintelligent to not proof read and correct typos.

Moving along, at today's cleveland.com the following link

    http://www.cleveland.com/lebron/index.ssf/2010/07/michael_jordan_on_lebron_joini.html

    has this paragraph

"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team,'" Jordan said after playing in a charity golf tournament this pasat weekend. "But that's ... things are different. I can't say that's a bad thing. It's an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys."

The word past is spelled "pasat." This goes on everyday at clevleand.com. We will start looking at the NH closer too!

  4. Fast typing and fat fingers are not excuses for typos. However, given the number of words appearing in a daily newspaper, mistakes are bound to happen. At the same time, I wouldn't want to be the editor whose copy has the most typos in it.

What happened to your last post?

  5. AGREED. NO EXCUSES HERE. Its careless (on our part), lazy (on our part), and detracts from the matters at hand.

We pledge to work harder on this issue and pay closer attention.

It's just shocking that at cleveland.com that there typos, plural, on a daily basis...I mean...we have no room to talk, but those guys are pros!

  6. ray somich is a nice man but was in over his head against aufuldish. somich went after aufuldish hard as well in that campaign and obviously didn't think aufuldish would fight back. aufuldish does play hardball in campaigns
he and bob gardner went at it years ago with both really letting the other have it.
