  1. Thanks for the info. All teacher salaries have been posted on the Buckeye Institute website for some time. Eastlake is the only local government posted now. Do you know if the Buckeye Institute plans to expand the local government data base in the near future? There is lots of specific and policy info on their website that every taxpayer in Ohio should review.

  2. No problem. More of this information is forthcoming. Sorry for the format its posted in; working on putting it in table form.

The Buckeye Institute as filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, and some other local communities. The only City that has bothered to respond so far is Eastlake. In Fact, Mayor Ted was said to have been happy to supply the information to the Buckeye Institute--he is in contract negotiations with several of the unions in the City.

Wonder why Willoughby an Willoughby Hills and some others are so reluctant to supply this data? Hmmmmm???

  3. If you're going to post salaries, why not post the total amount of hours each employee worked? While you are researching check the Ohio SERB website and count the number of unfair labor practices filed against the Mayor and his hired law firm, those wages/fees wages were not posted. I think you should also research the fact of his bragging of a million dollar surplus during his re election campaign, that somehow has dwindled to a projected carry over of only $ 7,000 at the end of 2010. Check the final cost of the pool project, no where close to the cost the Mayor touted.
